Falling Kingdoms follows the characters of Cleo, Magnus, Lucia, and Jonas as they struggle in their quest for power in continent of Mytica. This book is very similar to Game of Thrones, which is my all time favorite book, but it is less intense and for a young adult audience. The plot line is far easier to follow than Game of Thrones, but it still has multiple characters allowing a wider audience to find someone to relate to. Even though this is a fantasy book set in medieval times, I found a few lessons within the book. The first is involving emotions. If you shove all the emotions within you, you will burst and have a breakdown. But you also can't display all your emotions because it will be too easy to be taken advantage of. This book is a fun read that is not too challenging, but there can be a deeper meaning if you look further into it.
